Red and black robes

Flowing into the silence

of the night

On swift steed – the wind –

aflame like firelight.

Call of The Goddess

March 26, 2011

I feel a call from the Goddess in so many ways that I cannot help but put this out to those who need to hear it. The spirit of the Earth herself is talking loudly now and we need to listen. With all of the things happening on the planet at this moment and in recent times I am not the only one that is noticing the call. Even people that are not of any shamanistic or magical traditions and religions are all saying the same thing almost in unison and definitely agreeing that this is indeed happening.

Happy Ostara!

I am coming out of the broom closet quite literally actually. As the energy of the coming Sabbat and full moon built I had been deeply cleaning out my life both on the physical plane and the spiritual plane. It is the first day of spring! This cleaning period is a little tougher than usual, though, as I come out of a divorce this year.

Last night I stepped out onto the porch and glanced silently up at the supermoon that graced us this cycle. It was the closest to the earth it has been in 20 years. Early on in the evening distant thunder had rumbled, trembling through the ground, as storms swept around us and as always I had sat and listened to the awe of Mother Nature around me. Nothing can enfold her power and might as the skies lit up and roared to life. It was the Lord in a wild and free fury sliding atop the Goddess giving her nourishment as it soaked into the ground. When the anxious God calmed I felt her breathe a sigh of relief, satisfied and rejuvenated as I, too, was quickly becoming with what this energy surrounding me had unfolded.
